Storyblocks is a stock video subscription service. Contributors shoot stock video, submit it to Storyblocks, and are paid out for how often those stock clips are used by Storyblocks' customers.
During my time at Storyblocks, I was a Product Manager, working on improving the perception of quality of our video library. We did this by purging old content but also by redesigning our video review app to make identifying the best content simple and fast.
This allowed us to do things we'd never been able to do before like track specific attribute of incoming content so that we could determine if content liket hat performed better in our library. It led to improved review times and a better shared understanding of the kind of content we were looking to bring into the library between our team and the external review team.
